On the night, the mentors introduce their pupil, who performs to the club.

Forces Night

4th August

Many (if not all of us) use forces within our routines. Either for a kids trick, close-up or stage.

We ask everyone to get up and show us an effect that uses a force.

I’m sure we could be inundated with card tricks, (which we all love) however if you have something other than cards then do bring it along.

Prop Swop

13th October

Whether you specialise in Children’s magic, Close-Up or Stage – we ask everyone to bring a couple of tricks. One of which you can teach a fellow member.

As an example: John Duckett could be paired with Mark Chudley. John might be taught the McDonald’s Aces, followed by Mark doing Run Rabbit Run.

We will make random pairings of everyone in the room. Given a few minutes to explain the mechanics, techniques, routine and performance.

Then we show our new found skills (or not) to the whole group.

Magic Flix

Prier to the evening, members are requested to submit a favorite YouTube clip, lasting approximately 5 minutes.
